| Could blue lips and nail beds be a symptom of peanut allergy?
Yesterday, my perfectly normal 3 year old had some peanut butter and crackers and juice for a snack. She has only had peanut butter a couple of times before and not very much. When she finished eating her lips and nail beds were blue and her hands and feet were very cold but she had no other symptoms. The symptoms cleared after an albuterol nebulizer treatment, but she was not having any symptoms of asthma, just symptoms of low oxygen. Could these symptoms have been caused by a peanut allergy? |
