Thank You very much for those words of encouragement! I have petitioned, was interviewed and have been accepted through the voting process into a local lodge in the Cleveland area. My next step is to be initiated by ceremony and at that time I believe I may receive my first degree; the current scheduled date for this event is May 19th. I'm not going to elaborate in detail on what transpires because I don't want to risk divulging anything that traditionally should be kept within the confines of the institutuon of Freemasonry. I will say that I truly feel that this decision is perfect for me. I think there comes a time in a persons life when realization leads to a sort of epiphany. One must act on that epiphany and go in the direction that your convictions fit into and lead you. After 3 years of what I'm going to say was nominal research, I say nominal because it would be virtually impossible to study from the outside an institution as complicated as Freemasonry. What truly impressed me was the nobility of Freemasonry and I also believe that has a righteous brick in the foundation of the United States.
