Why are questions that are obvious British posted so Americans can answer when the legal systems are different

For example, what is the point of asking an employment question when the labor relations acts are so different.Or a question regarding housing or social benefits etc. Why cant the questions be directed just to the country of origin. What is the point of an American trying to answer a question from say, India, regarding family relationships. The cultural concept is worlds apart.I must say that our out look on the world is a mystery to most other countries.
