go for it and keep it light. You will always wonder if you don't and life's too short for should haves. Even if it doesn't work out there isn't any reason you still can't stay friends. If you are really good friends go out casual and tell her that you really like her and your feelings are getting deeper but you don't want to ruin your friendship.
