i'm a girl and last year i went through the same thing. me and this guy were soo close he always said he liked me but we went out before that and it didn't work out so i decided it was best for me to just stay friends with him, but anyways come this year we don't talk anymore and i realized i miss him and like him soooo much now. so i think you should ask her out, take a chance before its to late.
