| I knew that I was having some sort of neurological problems...found out that I have lyme disease. Now what?
See an infectious disease specialist. You may need to be on IV antibiotics. I would not see that doctor again. You may have chronic lyme which may need a different regimen of treatment or longer course of treatment since it was diagnosed at a later stage. Seeing a neurologist would not be a bad idea. They may want to do a brain scan and maybe a spinal tap. Have they ruled out the possibility of it being MS or lupus?
