well, there might be.But I heard that there is lead in make-up and it can cause cancer.I once got this email, and if you take lipstick, rub it on your finger, then take a gold ring and rub it on the lipstick. If it turns dark, then there probably lead in it. It's not good, so if that happens you should throw it away just incase.hope that helps !
