| Is it possible that religion has a tendency to make people afraid of knowledge?
Anything is possible but that certainly wouldn't be true for the vast majority of religious people. generally the arrogance of non-believers makes them convince themselves that these people who disagree with them must be either stupid or uneducated. it's a shame when people like that close their minds to knowledge..
