| I would like to answer for some questions? Re: 3) The Gospels don't contradict each other. They do tell some of the same stories from different points of view. If I ask three of your siblings about 1996's Thanksgiving dinner, are they all three going to remember it exactly the same way? Are they going to emphasize the same points? Were their experiences before and after the dinner exactly alike? We are influenced by our experiences, our outlooks, our purposes and our (and the Apostles') writing and rememberances reflect those differences. It just makes the Bible more real to some readers. There's no shortage of books written with an anti-Christian viewpoint. Haven't read the book you refer to but have read and studied the Bible. Keep asking questions. |
