Should I apply to Stanford?

I'm about to become a high school senior. I really want to apply to Stanford, but I'm a bit intimidated by the competition. My ACT scores are good, but not stellar. I have a 27. I have yet to take the SAT, and I know the normal range would be a 2100+. I don't have the perfect GPA, because I have already made 3 Bs. (Honors Chemistry, Honors PreCalculus, Honors Anatomy/Physiology) I will be taking the most rigorous courses offered (only 3 AP credits offered at my school).I'm very involved in school. I am the student council president, vice president for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and I am a member of my school's academic team, National Honor Society (was given a leadership position 1st year), NCSS, and I run cross country and play tennis. (varsity) I am also doing community service.I'm also determined and I'm not satisfied until I do my best. I try to take advantage of every opportunity and make the best of every situation.Should I bother applying?I want to go to Stanford because it is a well-rounded school and it encompasses everything I've wanted. When I think of the perfect college experience, I think of Stanford.I also want to go to a college far away from home. I honestly don't feel at home here and I feel a bit hindered by living where I live now.I know the school is expensive, but something else that appeals to me is the generous financial aid program they have for students.
