Vancouver is not cold like the rest of Canada, nor is it covered in snow six months of the year. It is however WET! It rains more there than anywhere else in Canada. The clothing you have now is probably fine, it's not like the city has a dress code and anyone not following it will be told to go to Calgary. Whatever you wear now is perfectly acceptable in Vancouver, just be sure to bring rain gear, a good water resistant jacket, and an umbrella or three. Vancouver is a large cosmopolitan city with a wide variety of people. There are plenty of great places to shop, there are parks, forests, mountains...it's a nice place. The climate is temperate rain forest, which means it never gets very cold and it's often raining. The temperatures will be from 7 to 15 Celsius. Temperatures are measured in Celsius in canada, I have no idea what that is in Fahrenheit, I think it's the 40's and 50's. There can be warm spells too, where the temperature can be in the high teens. It's quite comfortable compared to march in Calgary, or Yellowknife. If you go into the mountains, however, it will be winter there with snow, wind and freezing temperatures
As for on-line shops, I can't help you there. sorry.
