| What is the best job in the U.S Navy that keeps me close to my family?
I'd say join the Air Force. There are too many situations in the Navy where you'd be gone a lot. Practically all the jobs the Navy has can be on a ship. Or be in the Seabees. They're the construction battalion. You could be a carpenter, electrician, plumber and be a Seabee.
