What do people major in to become computer engineers?

Where do you go to college? i.e. at Berkeley most people declare E.E.C.S, eletrical engineering computer science; as knowledge in both fields complements the otherbut i believe you are speaking of the software side of computer engineers, should that be the case then most colleges offer the Computer science major where you learn languages such as skeem and C. Otherwise, you would would to lean towards en eletrical engineer should you prefer the hardware and perhaps some materials science engineering as computer hardware engineering usually requires some specilities.another category would be Industrial engineering and operations research and othe rvariations of the name this is more on the database and simulation/modeling side of computer engineering. Those are usually the three types of majors, computer science, eletrical engineering, and IEOR, that people major in should they like to become computer engineers.
