Well you can call xbox at 1-800-4myxbox or you can do what I did because replacing it at microsoft could take weeks. I bought mine at best buy with the 2 year replacement plan. What I did is brought mine into the store, and I told them it wasn't working. They looked up my receipt for me, and they immediately got a brand new xbox from the back. I took it home that day and the whole process took about 15 mins. No questions asked. Thats why I buy my consoles from best buy.
