| I was in junior high when I became diabetic and I wanted to be on the track team so I know exactly what your going threw. When being a diabetic, extreme exercise can cause low bloodsugars which of course can be really dangerous. I've lived with diabetes since I was 11 and now im 21. The best way to deal, is to try and take it one day at a time, maybe try finding some other sport thats not so physical? You should talk to your principal because that coach isnt supposed to discriminate against diabetics. He is only supposed to warn you to be cautious. You could seriously sue the school. |
