| Earthy tones are said to have a calming effect. Earth tones are colours like: sage, beige or creams, & soft yellows & purples like lilac. Colours that are vibrant are great for rooms like bathrooms and kitchens: blues, reds, oranges, dark purples, bright yellows. These colours look great, but may keep you awake (so they say).
