My puppy is 16 weeks old and goes out in what ever weather is out that door....and he's out there till he does his business...
They need to know thats where its done...
as for keeping them in their crates...it should only be done when U are not home...not while U are home....they need to learn how to live in your home on a daily basis...the crate is not a way to train them to not do their business in the house, it's a safe environment for them to be in while you are away from your house...
Get those Pups...out of the crate......you gotta catch them fast to go out....they play they pee, they sleep they pee, and eventually they will go to the door on their own...MINE does..
he's such a good boy......good luck..
