| Sounds like you are very goal-oriented and have a clear idea of what you want. You can go to school while you are a police officer (probably starting at a community college). With a college degree in the police department, you can make a good living and probably work up the ranks. Stick with it! Perhaps take a summer or fall course before you enter the police academy and get a head start! There are also online and cable TV courses, which you should do ONLY if you are very disciplined and will do the work. This will help you get through the programs faster. Good luck!
