My husband has several pally's and his favorite professions are mining and blacksmithing, or mining and enchanting. I have several characters who are jewelers, and we give stuff to each other ... but I usually have more money, and must give him 20 gold or more to keep him 'up to level' on his pally and his professions ... and I have 'money to burn' ... but I'd say either mining and blacksmithing or mining and enchantment.
