I had the same problem at home when I bought a vista laptop. I tried all of the things that have already been suggested and still... nothing. Finally I decided I'd try to hardwire the laptop and voila. As soon as I plugged the network cable in, it found the printer. Could be an isolated case. I was getting too fired up fooling with it to try anymore options once I got it to print anyway. I figure I have to walk to the printer for the printout, might aswell walk to it first and plug in.
