Plans are good, but actions speak louder than words. Get moving as soon as possible on that college deal. Even as a police officer it can only help you. I may be off on this next statement, but I don't think so. I would emphasize the fact that you are mexican. Many jobs have better opportunities for people of spanish decent. If you could speak spanish it gets better. I've even met people whose mother was spanish, who changed their last name to their mother's spanish name. This helped them get hired and receive promotions. It seems in today's society, all things being equal, it is better to be spanish. I know all of this does not sound politically correct, but sad to say it is the way of the world. Good Luck and keep plugging away!
