1. first draw a table like this:
X ] -5 ] -4 ] -3 ] -2]-1 ] 0 ]1 ] 2] 3] 4] 5]
Y ] -16]-13]-10]-7 ]-4 ]-1] 2] 5] 8]11]14]
]=lines
(do the above for whatever scale uve got n use the equation to work out the y column)
then 2 work out what goes in the Y coloumn replace the X in the equation with the number in the chart. e.g
for X= -5:
y= 3x-5 -1 which = -16
do this for each 1 n write the answer below the X u used. each of these will become co-ordinates for your graph e.g.
(-5, -16)
do the same with the nxt 1
e.g if X=3 :
y=4x3+5
=12+5
=17...
