| That is a tall order. IT is a very broad based subject matter involving many disciplines of study. But basic ethical values should be maintained such as being honest, not cheating or misleading others, benefiting by fraudulent means and such issues as may betray your nation or your loyalty. There are many such situations which one can visualise. Thus ethics are the same in whichever field of work you are engaged in. People in IT are a part of the social fabric of the community. Perhaps you could be more specific about your moral doubt. But as a general rule, wherever you have a suspicion that you may be deviating from your ethics, you are probably right. |
