| I have read many.
Of the ones that stick out:
1. A History of God - it chronicles the deveopment of god-myths through the ages and shows exactly where contemporary religions fit in to the developing mythology.
2. Micromotives and Macrobehaviors - not about religion at all. It's a great introduction into Game Theory. It really brings home how human behavior is as predictable as any other phenomenon and gives a fantastic basis (if you read between the lines) for the development of objective morality. |
