what is the difference between an executive secretary, a secretary and

an administrative assistant? and plz specify the duties for each of the 3 positions and which one is better?

The last two are the exact same with different titles. Receptionist works for that one too. The only difference with the first one is you work for a more important boss.

It depends on the actual position. A lot of companies (and people) use the terms interchangeably, to make "a secretary" sound better. Some companies actually do make a distinction between them -- for example, an executive secretary might be a head secretary of a pool of company secretaries. Or, might be the exclusive secretary for a company exec. However, you don't know what a particular position is until you've researched what that particular position is defined as by the company.

That's going to vary company to company; but largely they're all different terms for the same thing.
