How much money should an administrative asst/ofc manager make?

I am working as an administratvie assistan/office manager for a medium-sized CPA firm. I will be graduating with my AA in accounting in 2 months. I am currently making $15 an hour. I am wondering if my AA degree would qualify me to make more $? Should I approach the HR Dept with this? I have been with this firm for only 5 months, but I am making the same $ that I made at the last firm- even though I have 75% more responsibilities now. Thanks for your advice!

I believe that is standard for an administrative assistant. Now if you are officially an Office manager, you could probably make a little more, but not much, since they are the same position essentially...Besides, many employers don't care about degrees that you are going to earn. Also, why did you take a position for the same amount of pay with more responsibilities? Wait a month, and ask for a 6 month review for a possible raise. Unless you aren't working full time, you are still making $31K a year, which is really decent compared to a lot of places.
