| I broke my front tooth last week, and I have a job interview for an
administrative assistant tomorrow.? Should I mention to the interviewer that I broke it and have an appointment to get a crown, or should I just hope that they don't notice?

They will notice, and they will think it might give the office a low-rent appearance. After you shake hands with the interviewer and sit down, immediately bring it up. "I'm sure you see my broken tooth. It looks awful but I have to live with it until next Tuesday when I'll get the crown. I'm embarrased about it and I hope you'll overlook it." |
