The prosecutor's office has been unable to locate my ex-husband to collect

child support for some time...? He owes over $10,000, and refuses to have any contact with his kids. I have learned to live with the fact that I cannot rely on him, even though it has been very hard at times. I recently met someone who I care for very deeply and he cares for me too and my sons. They are thrilled to have a father figure around! The thing is...this guy that I am with now used to be in the same circle of friends as my ex. They never hung out much, but a mutual friend of theirs is getting married to my ex's sister (I recently found out). I am almost positive my ex will be there and my boyfriend will be there too...I just can't bring myself to go. My question is though, if he is there...is there any way for me to contact the police or someone to let them know where he is? He has been hiding for so long and I think it's terrible and he needs to have some kind of consequence. What do you think?
lol, I like Mama's answer!

About serving papers...hmmm...that might be a good idea. That's what I am here for. I need help from you guys! : )

The best thing is to hire a PI. The police and DA can't put too much time into these... there are too many.

Go to the wedding, stand tall, and call the cops! Let the bastard go down! Don't let him get away with not taking care of the kids. After he pays up, then have his rights terminated and move on with your life. Make him suffer a bit for all he has put you and those kids through. Men like that need a vasectomy!

Yes there is. If he's in your state, and there's a child support order out, you can absolutely call the police. And you should. Your children deserve the money ordered by the court. If he's stupid enough to go to a social event where you may be, you should get him.
