Anyone been to Bahariya Oases?

heyhas anyone ever been to Bahariya Oases (el wa7at el ba7areya)? Is it very far from Cairo, how long does it take to get there, and how are teh roads?Also, is it safe to live there? Is it like any qarya reefeya, or is really desert like w/ snakes and 3a2areb?I have never been there and only know general information about it.Also, how is the agriculture there, anyone ahve any idea on the price of land?If you don't know the answer, then don't answer the bleeping question and put "I don't know"......gosh

beduins live in Egyptian oases .so, life there would be in tents .i know someone who went there ,he loved the scenery , but yes, there are snakes and scorpios , plus foxes and wolves .there are micro buses that go there .go and explore the place .the distance is about 350 kms .it is now part of 6th October , so the micro bus would be from there .take your camera with you .
