Can you make a man-made storm by using hot and cold air in your own home?

For example, if you had one room that was full of hot steam and you direct cold air (say from an air-conditioned) into that room - would it create storms that we usually see when cold and warm air collide? Would it take much more energy for us to create a man-made storm in a specified location such as inside a building, and in a room?

I think you need MUCH more energy for that. Imagine how much wind there is up there that clashes the cold and warm air together, and there's a lot of warm and cold air. In a house all it would do is have a lukewarm spot in the middle.

It's impossible to create your own storm by natural forces. You would have to pump you house temperature to a vapor pressure that will allow moisture to condense out in the form of clouds. Second it would not work because you would aerosol particles known as process called Coalescence. So much more things would be needed in order to create your homemade storm.
