Why can no one make a joke about the US military on YA?

If any other group based itself on such pride and self rightousness, whilst being commanded by a coke adicted monkey, it would be a huge joke. Is it that Americans feel their military and service men are so weak that they must defend them at every opportunity, or is this group really better than the rest of us?

OK, I'm a liberal democrat and against the war from the beginning but I don't think it's cool to joke about our military while they are getting their legs blown off.
