Why is Air Force One so big?

The President has a large entourage of advisers, security, flight crew, even members of the press. Plus there are conference rooms, and tons of electronics so the nation can be governed from the sky in event of an emergency. It's not just Bush up there by himself eating cheetos and watching porn...

Yes, their staff, reporters, and other dignitaries are on the flight. It's a white house in the sky, so there is multiple uses for the aircraft.
