Navy or Air Force for a married man?

my wife said she will support me with either decision i make, i know our relationship is strong enough for either decision. Both Branches have made me feel comfortable enough to join either one, i guess what it comes down to is what branch will best benefit my family?

I would say the Air Force. But if you choose the security forces field once you're in the AF, just know they can be easily assigned 15 month deployments. But most of the time the deployments are shorter in the Air Force and last for 120 days.

Most of the people I have ever talked to that were in a different service have said that they wished they had joined the Air Force. With the Navy, there will be long times at sea, which can be adversely wearing on a relationship.

Im in the Air Force and im an Air Traffic Controlist...... The Air Force takes care of their people. Its more family oriented...max deployment is 179 days, dunno about the Navy. Great benefits and lifestyle. Good Luck

Definitely Air Force. You'll see your family more often. With the Navy, you'll have to do sea tours and will not see your family for long stretches of time.

Both can be deployable, but if your a married man, and you want to see your wife more Airforce would be the better option.

Navy you tend to have to spend time on ships etc.
