Thinking about joining the Air Force..?..?

I've posted a ton of questions about this. Im just trying to get as much input as possible. so here you go.

Im 19, almost 20. i've been working full time since i got out of highschool (about a year) before the full time work i decided i wanted to join the airforce. my parents didnt take it well. so they convinced me to take a full time job instead.
after a few months, i decided i wanted to go to college. but i realized i couldnt afford it. so i brought up the idea of enlisting again to my family. same thing happend from before.
i still wanna enlist, i know what career i want and im not afraid of BMT or anything like that. i guess i would just like to hear evryones opinion on the AF.
NOTE: I kno alot of u say "your 19, do what you want" let me say im not a mamas boy, i would just like for my parents to accept my decision and not be mad

you have a choice that i never had. i signed up for the air force because of the draft way back in 1968. I enjoyed my time in the af as an acft mechanic on the C-130. Viet nam wasn't all that great but i got to see 15 foreign countries and most of the lower 48 states and hawaii. some time in your life you have to do what your inner self wants you to do. remember that in all things there is risks involved. your parents will have to get over their feelings if you deciede to sign up remember this never bring dishonor on your family by your actions and if you sign up try to injoy your time. mr doodles
