How do I become a USAF pilot, I'm still a sophomore in high school?

What steps should I take to become a USAF pilot? I want to drive a plane really really bad. Not commercial airlines, I want to fly like a F22, F16, H-60 and what not.
I took two years of P.E. , so I should take 2 years of ROTC the last 2 years of school? Is rotc really necessary.. i mean....... you wave some poles around... and salute?
oh and why math?

Go to embry riddle! I know its one of the best schools! Good luck! Rotc in highschool will get you enlisted in a higher rank, but with my highschool i went to we had to take 4 yrs. but i would go ahead and go into the rotc the last 2 yrs, you can learn alot

Get good at math get ur diploma and just say forget everything and just enlist into the airforce to wait just enlist

inquire about getting into a commission officer programs like the Air Force academy, or college air force ROTC. Yes, pilots are officer so you need to go to college first. Do well in high school and try to go ROTC.

I would Join high school rotc and then apply for ROTC scholarship program at the end of you senior year. I was awarded 80,000 dollars in the army ROTC in college. So, baby steps first.

Get really good grades in school and try to get into the Air Force academy. It's competitive.
