How can an Infantry Marine switch to a pilot in the Air Force?
Is that possible? This is one of the many options my husband and I are trying to figure out, and I have no idea about it. He wanted to be in the Air Force first, but instead enlisted with the Marines.. can he become a pilot now? Even if it is a Marine pilot? Ugh.
If he has a college degree now then he has to finish his contract with the Marines first and then he can apply in the Air Force..
If he has no degree then he can begin his schooling now if he can to get a degree and then when he leaves the Marines he can attempt to join the AF if he has a degree by then.
You can not transfer from branch to branch...You have to finish your contract and then you can enlist into the other branch.
