Will a RE Code 4c (Air Force) disqualify me from getting a police job?

I have a 4c ReCode and it was a uncharacterized entry level separation. It was due to a failed medical because they found a very pinhole size hole in my heart. Dr.s at home said no symptoms and they found it by fluke. I am in the process of trying to reenlist and my recruiter doesnt think it won be much of a problem so with all the Dr. recommendations and congress recommendation I have asked for. I am healthy and can exercise fine. No complications, but will this prevent me from a police job since they ask about prior service and I obviously have a DD214 I would have to show them. I dont want to ask the police department I am about to apply for just in case. Anyone in the law enforcement, military or know anybody with a similat issue please respond seriously only, thanks.
