How to quit my job, in a good way? I have work for 7 years for this company, they have been really good with me. It is just that I desided to join The US Air Force, how should I quit my job so they would understand?

How to quit my job, in a good way? I'm in the same dilemma. I had to tell my current boss that my potential new employer wants to check my job reference, was so hard telling him!!! I just sat down, told him why this was a better choice for me and my family. Honestly, how can employer not support you in an endeavor such as that?

How to quit my job, in a good way? If you're joining the U.S. Air Force I'm pretty sure they will understand. Write out a notice and talk to your boss. Let them know what you are doing and why it is important to you. I'm pretty sure they will understand and writing out a notice (whether it be a week, two weeks, etc.) will make things more professional. Leaving a notice will make you look good if you choose to come back to the company someday. Good luck!
