Question about visitation at air force tech school? Me and my daughter will be moving to be by the wife during her training at tech school to be there to support her. I know that we cant live with her. But as far as seeing her, how long does she have to be there before we can go on base to see her? I asked her recruiter two times and he said immediately. Is that true? Well we will at least give her the first week to settle in. One more question, after 2 wks from my understanding she can come off base during the weekends, right? I also read that if married, after 2 wks she can request to live off base with me, of course at our own expense. Basically i just want to know if i can see her immediately and after 2 wks if she can move in with me or even stay the night friday and saturday. Her recruiter along with a trainee at the bmt reception center said that all that is correct. Is it?

Question about visitation at air force tech school? First of all the trainee at the reception center is probably in his 2nd of 3rd week of training so I wouldnt pay much attention to him about tech-school! Well It depends where she will be for tech training(squadron) each has a different set of rules! You will be allowed to travel on base and visit her as soon as she arrives there, she will not be allowed off base just yet and will probably have to remain in uniform anytime she's out of her dormitory! Tech-School has a phase program I, II, III etc. usually phase II your allowed off base with a curfew and must wear blues, phase III no curfew or blues that's when she can leave for the weekend and what not! As for living off base it's not allowed unless your tech-school exceeds a certain amout of weeks, if it does ya'll would be offered the option of living in base housing first...if nothing's available then off base housing will be considered! Dont expect her to stay the weekends for a min. of 4 weeks!

Question about visitation at air force tech school? if you are visiting her yes you should wait few weeks until she gets past phase one and get more prvilages such as going off base etc etc but if you are gonna move go asap. if her tech school is longer than 13 weeks she can move off base with you both. weekends of course she can stay with you

Question about visitation at air force tech school? She will be restricted to the Base for the first 36 days. You should be able to vist her, after the first couple of days, once she knows her schedule. She is not restricted to the barracks. She will not be allowed to move off base, untill after the first 30 days. And then, only with permission of her commander. He will make his judgement, based on her grades in school, her PT scores and her airmenship.IE: if she is doing well, he will probally allow her to live off base with you.But if she is having problems, then he will not let her move off base. You do not have to live at your own expense, you should be collecting a housing allowance, from the time, she entered basic training. The Air Force just will not pay to move your furniture to her Tech School, but they will pay to move you and your daughter.I have provided a link, that list the Tech School restriction for the Air Force.
