Air Force MEPS? Im scheduled to go to MEPS next week for the Air Force and I know which jobs I would prefer, my question is how many jobs do you get to list at MEPS also if those jobs are not available then I dont have to sign anything right? Also if they are not available and I go into the DEP do I have to take the first job they offer me from my list or can i hold off untill my first pick comes open then sign? Thanks in advance.

Air Force MEPS? MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Center) is a processing site shared by all branches of the military for processing recruits shipping out to basic training. You should already HAVE your MOS assigned BEFORE you arrive. Talk to your recruiter NOW.

Air Force MEPS? Wrong,The Air force will guarantee you the training, but if you don't pass the courses then they can reasigned you to another job, your in the army forces now boy, there is the right way to do it, the wrong way to do it and The Airforce way to do it, you are going to do it Air force way, now get down and give me twenty(That push ups) good luck

Air Force MEPS? you dont have to pick your job right away but if they dont have the job you want dont go in on a open contract pick the next best thing then build up your military resume while your enlisted then change your mos later so that more jobs are open ask your recruiter just dont go in on a open contract email me for more info bbroolynscottt

Air Force MEPS? DO NOT GO THERE NOT KNOWING WHAT YOU WANT OR THEY WILL PUT YOU IN WHAT THEY NEED!!! Make sure that you know what you want to do. The jobs that they tell you about have real flashy names but in real life they will not be what you expected. Ex. Squadron Logistics Analyzer. AKA, secretary. I recommend going for Air Traffic Control. That is what I did six years ago and I still do it now as a civilian. I love it. I went into the air force guaranteed for air traffic control. Do your research and figure out what you want to do. If you go for security forces (cop) then you will be looking at 6 month to year deployments in the desert and more then 12hr days. Any job will have it's challenges (especially air traffic control) but pick a job that you are interested in and you can use once you get out of the military.

Air Force MEPS? When you talk to the Air Force Liaison at the Military Entry Processing Station (MEPS), he will go over with you the jobs (AFSC) you qualify for, depending on your ASVAB scores and availability. Once you choose an AFSC, it will be put into your contract, if you want a specific AFSC and it is not in your contract, you will not be able to do that job.

Air Force MEPS? At MEPS they put the jobs in front of you that your ASVAB scores qualify you for, then they say pick which one you want.If none interest you, say i don't want these jobs. The higher you score on the ASVAB the more jobs will be open to you.Remember, you don't have to pick a job. You can stay in DEP, do research, study and retake ASVAB if you want.
