| Boyfriend going to Air Force, ways to cope?
They will not keep him close to home because he is engaged....there's no benefit to the AF. They will keep him "close to home" if there is an AF need. If he enlists, the AF will pay for his college classes that he takes in his free time. They will not "send" him to college. If he really wants to be a pilot, then he needs to go to college and get a degree first. I highly encourage both of you to look at http://www.afrotc.com. We have several scholarships available. It might be a good opportunity for both of you.
