What color shoes with navy sweater?

I have a navy sweater that I want to wear to work with khaki pants. I have a pair of black shoes and a pair of brown shoes that I wear to work. Both pairs are simple but suitable for a business casual dress code. Which pair should I wear with the outfit? Or is neither pair appropriate?

Between those, brown is definitely better. But ideally, Sperry Topsiders are the ones to wear. Get the brown ones, like this:

These look natural, and give the look a nautical, kind of expensive but laid-back look. I wear these with my school uniform. I wear a skirt, and a navy ralph-lauren cable knit sweater. It always gives me a neat look, and very put together. I also wear ballet flats, but these are my favorite. I've gotten 'best dressed' for 3 years now!

Brown of course. Mandy's shoe choice was excellent. It is all about the close proximity of the shoes to the next item of apparel. After that it matters on coordination of shoes and handbags. What ever you are going to be seen with the maximum amount of time with the wearing of items together.
