how "in shape" do you have to be going into navy boot camp?

I'm going into navy boot camp pretty soon, i've been exercising, but i still meet only the minimum, sometimes not even for the runnign and such, i can run forever, just not fast. . . .

my recruiter said tons of peopelshow up not even able to do the absolute minimum, is this true?

will i be fine? i plan on keeping to work out but it's getting to crunch time and I think it's a real possibility that i won't be able to achieve teh required fitness standards. I also have to work full time two jobs because i don't have anyoen supporting me so i have nearly no free time!

I was a jock in high school and went right into the navy as this was 1969 and I had a low draft number. it was allot tougher than I thought it would be. San Diego was also very nice, but I believe it to be closed now. if you want to go in, you will be fine, really. the ones that did not do well were the ones who did not want to be there in the first place, and p.s good choice
