how do i go about doing that? i want to give my mom full custody of my son so i can join the airforce. how do i go about doing that? his father did sign the birth certificate however he is in prison. he is willing to sign as well if needed. my only other option if i want to go to the airforce is to get married and i definitely dont want to do that. can some one who knows what i can do help me also if i give up custody do i have to wait a certain amount of time bf i can join....plz

Does the military have someone there that can guide you in such issues? You are not the only person leaving you child(dren) so they must have some kind of assistance.

Why not just take care of your own responsibilities and take care of the child yourself.
