Is it F*cked up that I won't tell my "girlfriend" about enlisting in the Air Force?

I've been with this girl for a long time, and I am completely in love with her, but we have had a bump in the road and have not been dating for about 2 or 3 months, but still talking every night and say I love you and all that good stuff, and I have just been waiting on her basically until she is ready. I told her i would not wait if she wasn't sure what she wanted, but she says she will be ready, but I know if I enlist she would break it off. I reckon this could make 2 questions, I mean should I end it? I love her and i don't want to lose her. But then again I am tired of waiting...and I have tried to break it off but I just can't do it....and if things do somehow workout great, how should i tell her if i know she will leave me?
