Navy or Air force?

I have been looking to possibly join the military and want to become a fighter pilot. I would prefer to be a Navy Pilot but is being an Air Force pilot better? Is it harder to become a Navy pilot than it is an Air Force pilot?
I'm currently at college now so I'm waiting to get a degree so I can become an officer. I go to UCONN so there is a Air Force ROTC. But I've been looking at transferring to Embery Riddle possibly and I know they have a Navy ROTC there. If I stay at UCONN I would apply to Navy OCS.

classy gal has a spectacular aura about
In my husband's time in the Army he has seen the living conditions of all services and firmly believes that the USAF has it the best followed by the Navy, but it is also true that US Navy pilots are famous the world throughout for being the best pilots on the planet. Also, just so you know ahead of time... you must be an officer to fly a fighter, so make sure you've got some college and make sure Officer is in your contract. Good Luck.
