Looking for real experiences/opinions of these NAVY enlisted ratings...?

I really can't decide what I would be most happy with.

Could anyone give me their stories about the following ratings:

AG

MC

YN or CTA

DT

???

No more DTs..they have been absorbed in HM and are just a NEC now.

CTA is also gone..absorbed into YN.

MC is FULL due to the recent merge of 4 old ratings so it is extremely hard to get and advancement SUCKS royally for the most part.

Which leaves Weather Guesser..and I really can't offer any insight on that rating.

I used to be enlisted in the Navy, and take my advice for your own good. Do not join the Navy as an enlisted person. Instead I would advise for you to go to college, get your self a bachelors degree in whatever you want, and then afterwards join the military, but this time, join as an officer.

You get paid a lot more to do a lot less, and you don't have to do all the degrading things enlisted people have to do while in the military. Do not try to become an officer after first joining up as enlisted, it's a big mistake and it's close to impossible to getting it done.
