| Join the US air force where i got almost a perfect score on ASVAB, or not...
...leave my GF and hope we last? I have always been interested in joining the US Air Force. I went as far as talking to a recruiter, taking the ASVAB to see which jobs I was qualified for, and I scored nearly a perfect score, meaning I am qualified for every job there is (minus ones that require a college degree.) This sounds good, but I have to decide if I wanted to go in and be guaranteed the life that would be fun and exciting for me, but at the cost of leaving my girlfriend who I have been dating for several years now. I have discussed it with her and we both agree that her to stay loyal for the 8+ months that I would be in tech school and basic would be extremely difficult. Any words of advice from people who made have had to make a decision like this before? Leave a secure life behind and hope me and her last, or leave her and always wonder what would have happened.      |
