| Would like to join the Air Force but I learned 1.5 years ago that I have a mild case
of scoliosis. Can I join? I am currently 18 and my doctor did not even notice the condition until 1.5 years ago. I probably have had it for a long time. I was told that I could get a waiver for that. Also I have glasses but that really doesn't matter anymore. RIght? Thank you for your comments. Talking to the recruiter shortly. At least I don't have asthma.      |

What you will be doing in the service determines whether you'll be able to join based on your condition. They will be giving you a physical prior to your enlistment anyway, let them be the judge about your eligibility. There are many jobs in the Air Force other then being a pilot, for example... I was a plumber! |
