Can I deploy in the Air Force Reserve with less than (6) months in my contract?

Deployment for 6-9 months, with less than 6 months retainability
My rank is E5/SSgt. I know of stop-loss...I mean for a regular AEF rotation to Iraq.

Depends / Do you plan on getting out of the Reserves when your contract is up or reenlisting for another round.
If you plan an getting out of the military - talk with your supervisor and your readiness people about your decision. Readiness would list your tasking slot as a SHORTFALL unless another person in your career field (same base) can fill it. If not then another base/unit/person will get tasked to deploy.
If you plan on reenlisting when the time comes due - talk with the reenlistment people about re-upping while deployed (others have done it) / If your career field has a SRB and you re-up in a Combat Zone - that money is possibly all TAX FREE
Standard Air Force Active Duty Deployments were 120 days in a AEF Rotation Cycle / Reserves were like 60 days / unless T-tasked with the ARMY (then more like 180 days)
(Deployment Lengths may have CHANGED/BEEN EXTENDED since I got out)

yes. they can stop loss you and make you complete the entire deployment if they want to.

Its possible. That is what Stop-Loss is. If you have less then 8 years total on your contract, they can do it. It does not mean they will do it. It will depend on your job, rank, and how many others like you have to fill that job and rank.
